Breastfeeding, low supply and the working mom…how to annoy her

I could compile hundreds of things that bother me when people talk about breastfeeding and the working mom.  But heres a few of my top.

What NOT to say to a breastfeeding working mom (specially one who struggles with low supply)
1. When are you going to quit?
2. Formulas just as good.
3. Where have you been?
4. I quit because…. (this better end with my baby weaned themselves or I dried up).
5. Breastmilk has no value after (fill in the blank) months.
6. Still pumping?
7. Want to share those cookies? - No, they are lactation cookies, I made them while baby wearing and my toddler was demanding attention.
8. I hate/dislike when women nurse uncovered - some babies just won't nurse covered.
9. You sure make a lot of noise in there.
10. Does your baby have teeth yet? You going to stop when they come in?
11. I dare you to mow in there.
12. When are you going to wean that baby?

How to help her!
1. Simply say great job mama!
2. That customer call you took, just help them.
3. Every ounce counts.  (Specially when she comes out of her pump room looking defeated and carrying 3 oz instead of 5 oz)
4. Keep drinking that water.
5. Your baby is beautiful/adorable/lucky/precious
6. Whats new with your baby?
7. Can I see a picture of your baby?
8. Your hard work pays off
9. Keep going mama
10. Your baby and wallet will thank you!
